  • Cost is $691 for non-members of HPBA
  • Cost $237.50 for HPBA members who already have CORE credit.
  • Cost is $347.50 for non-members of HPBA who already have NFI CORE credit.

NFI Review & Exam 2019

Location: 7233 SW Kable Lane, Suite 100 Portland OR. 97224 (Western Outdoor Wholesale).

Cost:

  • HPBA Member, CORE review, Gas Review and Exam $460. If you already have wood or pellet you don’t need CORE again. The cost for just the Gas review and exam is $235. 
  • Non-member, CORE review, Gas Review and Exam $691. If you already have wood or pellet you don’t need CORE again. The cost for just the Gas review and exam is $347.50.
  • Price includes manual, review and exam for the Gas exam also includes lunch on site.

Exam Details: Gas (40) Questions Approximately Core (60) Questions Approximately. 1st certification requires core and 1 fuel type. Additional fuel type certifications will not require secondary core test.

Schedule:

  • 3 Hour CORE Review 8:00 A.M. to 11:00 A.M
  • Lunch 11:00 A.M. to 11:30 A.M.
  • 3 Hour Fuel Type Review 11:30 A.M. to 2:30 P.M
  • 30 Minute Break
  • 2.5 Hour Total estimated exam time allowed 75 minutes core 75 minutes fuel type

Bring: You can take the core and fuel type same day if needed)

  • Need to bring calculator (no cell phones allowed to test)
  • Study book manual
  • Recommend studying manual for 30-60 days minimum prior to review and exam(mailed to you)
